Woman Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Pine Tree Road in Longview
Longview, Texas – A woman was killed on Wednesday in a pedestrian accident in Longview, according to the Longview Police Department.
The deadly accident happened around 8:40 p.m., May 1, in the 900 block of Pine Tree Road.
Police said the woman was crossing the road when she failed to yield the right of way to a pickup truck that was traveling northbound in the inside lane and was struck. She was taken to the hospital where she later died. Her name has not been released.
The police are investigating the crash.
