Sheriff Deputy Injured in Waco Two-Vehicle Crash on West Waco Drive near New Road

Waco, Texas (July 24, 2019) – A McLennan County Sheriff’s Deputy was injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday evening in Waco, a local news source reported.

The accident took place just before 5:30 p.m. July 22, on West Waco Drive near New Road.

As per the report, the deputy was driving when an SUV made an unsafe turn and the two vehicles collided.

The deputy was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The female driver of the SUV declined treatment at the scene.

An investigation is underway.
