Man Fatally Hit by Drunk Driver at California Avenue and E. 30th Street in Dickinson

58-Year-Old Man Killed in Dickinson Pedestrian Accident at California Avenue and E. 30th Street

Dickinson, Texas (June 8, 2020) – A 58-year-old man was hit and killed by a suspected drunk driver on Saturday in Dickinson, according to police.

The deadly accident occurred around 9:01 p.m., June 6, at the intersection of California Avenue and E. 30th Street.

Police said the man was struck by a truck at the intersection.

The victim was taken to Clear Lake Hospital, where he later died.

The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators. He was arrested and has been charged with driving while intoxicated.

An investigation is underway.
