Man Injured in San Antonio Motorcycle Crash on Palo Alto Road near Somerset Road

San Antonio, Texas (June 18, 2022) – A man in his 60s was injured Friday night in a motorcycle crash in Southwest San Antonio, according to the police.

The crash happened around 9:15 p.m., June 17, in the 500 block of Palo Alto Road near Somerset Road.

Police said the man was riding his motorcycle southbound and was towing an improvised trailer when a Honda Civic hit him.

The motorcycle did not have any rear lights, and the rider was wearing dark clothing at the time of the crash.

The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Civic driver stopped at the scene and rendered aid. They were not intoxicated.

The police are investigating the crash.
