Man Killed in Killeen Motorcycle Crash at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard

According to the Killeen Police Department, the wreck was reported at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Hackberry Drive at around 11:36 p.m.

39-Year- Old Man Killed, Another Hospitalized after Killeen Motorcycle Crash at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Hackberry Drive

Killeen, TX. – A 39-year-old motorcycle rider was killed in a traffic collision on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Killeen late Sunday night.

According to the Killeen Police Department, the wreck was reported at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Hackberry Drive at around 11:36 p.m.

A preliminary investigation revealed that a 2014 GMC cargo van was headed south on MLK and attempted to turn left onto Hackberry Drive when it was hit by a motorcycle.

The 39-year-old male rider was pronounced dead at the scene while the passenger, a 27-year-old man, was rushed to Baylor Scott and White Hospital in critical condition.

The name of the deceased was not released pending notification of the next of kin.

No more details regarding the mishap were provided.
