Pedestrian Fatally Hit by Car on IH-35 in San Antonio

San Antonio, Texas – A pedestrian was fatally hit by a car Saturday morning in San Antonio’s Northside, according to the San Antonio Police Department.

The deadly accident happened around 10:30 a.m., June 22, on IH-35 N Access Road at O’Connor Road.

Police said a person was walking across the highway when they were struck by a white Honda Pilot.

There were no crosswalks or pedestrian light signals at the intersection.

The pedestrian was killed in the crash. The victim’s identity has not been released.

The driver cooperated with the police, was not distracted by his phone at the time of the crash, and was not impaired.

The police are investigating the crash.
