Pedestrian Injured in Hit-and-Run Accident on Randolph Blvd in San Antonio

20-Year-Old Woman Injured in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Randolph Boulevard

San Antonio, Texas (October 6, 2019) – A 20-year-old Hispanic woman was injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident Saturday evening in San Antonio, according to a local news source.

The accident occurred shortly before 8:00 p.m. on October 5, in the 6100 block of Randolph Boulevard.

Police said the woman was walking on the shoulder of the road when a vehicle drifted off the roadway and struck her before crashing into a nearby building.

The driver attempted to flee the scene but was followed by witnesses who contacted the police.

The driver was arrested and taken into custody.

The woman was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC) with minor injuries.

The driver is facing a Failure to Stop & Render Aid charge.

An investigation is underway.
