Woman Killed in Universal City Pedestrian Accident on FM 78

Universal City, Texas (January 28, 2023) – A homeless woman was killed last week in a hit-and-run accident in Universal City, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 3:00 a.m., January 18, on FM 78, just east of Pat Booker Road, near the gate to Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph.

Police said the woman was trying to cross the highway when she was struck and run over by several cars.

Two of the drivers stopped and tried to render aid.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.

No other details were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
