One Injured in San Angelo Two-Vehicle Crash at Sherwood Way and Sunset Drive

San Angelo, Texas – One person was injured on Friday in a two-vehicle crash in San Angelo, according to the police.

The crash happened on January 12, at the intersection of Sherwood Way and Sunset Drive.

Police said an older model Chevy truck traveling northbound on Sunset Drive when the driver disregarded a red light and collided with a black Impala at the intersection. The Impala driver was signaled with a controlled green arrow and was turning left onto Sherwood Way at the time.

A passenger in the Chevy was transported to Shannon Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Chevy truck was cited for disregarding a red light.

The crash remains under investigation.
