3 Seriously Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on N. Western and Hastings in Amarillo

Three Hospitalized after Amarillo Car Crash at N. Western and Hastings
Amarillo, Texas (March 15, 2019) – Three people were hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon at an Amarillo intersection, according to a local news source.
The crash happened at about 1:10 p.m. March 13, at the intersection of N. Western and Hastings.
Police said a 2013 Toyota minivan driven by a 74-year-old woman was traveling westbound on Hastings and it turned southbound onto Western and collided with a 2016 Land Rover, driven by a 17-year-old boy, which was heading northbound on Western.
A juvenile passenger in the Land Rover and both drivers were transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police said speed was a factor in the crash.
The APD Traffic Investigation Squad is investigating the crash.
