David Ponce Killed in Hit-and-Run on Lexington Street in Manor

David Ponce Killed in Manor Pedestrian Accident on Lexington Street

Manor, Texas (September 30, 2022) – According to the police, a man was killed Wednesday evening in a hit-and-run accident in downtown Manor.

The deadly accident happened around 8:13 p.m., September 28, in the 100 block of North Lexington Street.

Police said David Ponce, 38, of Manor, was struck by an unknown vehicle in the southbound lane.

Ponce was killed in the crash.

The vehicle fled the scene after the accident.

The police are asking anyone who was driving northbound or southbound in the area before or during the accident to contact them. 

An investigation is underway. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Manor Police Department at police@manortx.gov or 512-272-8177 and ask to speak with Sgt. Struble.
