John R. Dockendorff Dies after Pedestrian Accident at Valley International Airport in Harlingen

John R. Dockendorff Killed in Harlingen Pedestrian Accident at Valley International Airport
Harlingen, Texas (January 29, 2019) – The man who was struck by a vehicle Thursday morning in Harlingen has died, according to a local news release.
The accident occurred on Thursday, January 24, at Valley International Airport.
Police said 81-year-old John R. Dockendorff was struck by a vehicle for unknown reasons in front of the airport arrivals area.
Dockendorff was transported to the hospital with serious injuries where he succumbed to his injuries the following day.
The involved driver stayed at the scene after the accident.
The police are investigating the crash.
