Lorenzo Saucedo Killed in Car Accident on Texas 82 in Port Arthur

Lorenzo Saucedo ID’d as Victim in Fatal Port Arthur Crash on Texas 82

Port Arthur, Texas (June 19, 2019) – The person who was killed early Friday morning in a head-on collision in Port Arthur has been identified as Lorenzo Saucedo, 39, of Port Arthur, according to police.

The deadly crash was reported at around 4:00 a.m. Friday, June 14 in the 3500 block of Texas 82.

Police said a Nissan driven by Saucedo, was traveling on the roadway when for an unknown reason, it crossed over into the opposite lane and collided head-on with another vehicle. The force of the impact caused the Nissan to flip over.

Saucedo was pronounced dead at the scene. The occupants of the Ram truck sustained non-life threatening injuries and were taken to a local hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.
