Rider Killed in Motorcycle Crash with Semi Truck on SH 30 near Carlos

Man Killed in Grimes County Motorcycle Accident on SH 30 near FM 244

Carlos, Texas (April 11, 2019) – A man who crashed a motorcycle into a big rig was killed in the collision on Wednesday evening in Grimes County, according to a police report.
The two-vehicle crash took place around 5:30 p.m. April 10, on SH 30, west of FM 244.
According to the police, a motorcycle rider was traveling on the side of the roadway when he attempted a U-turn and was struck by a passing semi-truck.
The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the semi was not injured.
The authorities have not released the identities of the parties involved in the crash. The incident is under investigation.
