1 Critically Injured in DWI Crash at SW Military Drive and New Laredo Hwy in San Antonio

San Antonio, Texas – A man was critically injured early Sunday morning in a DWI crash in San Antonio, according to the San Antonio Police Department.

The accident happened around 1:40 a.m., June 23, at the intersection of SW Military Drive and New Laredo Highway.

Police said a Ford F150 approached the intersection at a high rate of speed and rear-ended a 2014 Ford Flex.

The driver of the Flex was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the F150 was found to be intoxicated and was facing a charge of intoxication assault.

The police are investigating the crash.
