Driver Killed, Another Seriously Injured in San Antonio Crash on Highway 151

San Antonio, Texas (July 10, 2022) – A driver was killed and another was seriously injured in a wrong-way crash early Sunday morning in San Antonio, according to the San Antonio Police Department.

The deadly crash happened at about 2:00 a.m. on Highway 151 South on the city’s far West Side.

Police said a Dodge Nitro was heading southbound in the northbound lanes of Highway 151 South when it collided head-on with a Cadillac XTS that was heading northbound.

The driver of the Dodge Nitro died at the scene.

The driver of the Cadillac XTS was taken to University Hospital with major injuries. Authorities said the driver was in stable condition.

Further details regarding the crash were not immediately provided.

An investigation is underway.
