2 Injured in Bus Crash on Saunders Avenue in San Antonio

San Antonio, Texas – Two people were injured Monday afternoon in a VIA bus crash in San Antonio, according to the San Antonio Fire Department.

The crash happened around 2:15 p.m., May 27, in the 1300 block of Saunders Avenue.

Officials said the crash involved the VIA bus and a car. The car went over a guardrail and hit a shed after the collision. The car then caught fire.

Two people on the bus were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

The car driver was uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
