Ivan Esparza Injured in Odessa Two-Vehicle Crash at South Grant Avenue (TX-385) and FM 1787

Odessa, Texas (August 8, 2019) – One person was injured in a DUI crash last Thursday at an Odessa intersection, according to the authorities.

The crash took place on August 1, at the intersection of South Grant Avenue (TX-385) and Farm to Market Road 1787.

Authorities said a black pickup truck was crossing through the intersection when it was t-boned by another vehicle whose driver ran a red light.

The impact caused the pickup truck to roll over.

The pickup truck driver, Ivan Esparza, sustained minor injuries.

Authorities said the driver of the other vehicle was drunk at the time of the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
