Man Hospitalized after Dallas Pedestrian Accident on LBJ Freeway near Abrams Road

Dallas, Texas (February 25, 2020) – A man was injured in a pedestrian accident early Monday morning in Dallas, according to the police.

The accident happened just before 4:00 a.m. February 24, in the eastbound lanes of LBJ Freeway near Abrams Road.

Police said the man was driving when he was involved in a crash with another vehicle, and he exited his vehicle to check on the damage. As he was standing outside, he was hit by an oncoming vehicle.

The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The driver who hit the man stayed at the scene.

The crash closed the eastbound lanes of the freeway for several hours.

An investigation is underway.
