Man Killed in Killeen Motorcycle Accident on Interstate 14

Killeen, Texas (July 28, 2020) – A man was killed in a motorcycle accident Sunday evening in Killeen, according to authorities.

The fatal crash happened at about 5:50 p.m., July 26, on Interstate Highway 14 between Stan Schlueter Loop and Rosewood Drive.

According to a preliminary investigation, a red motorcycle was speeding eastbound in the outside lane of the highway when it rear-ended a Toyota 4Runner.

The impact ejected the rider from the motorcycle. The victim was found lying unresponsive in the roadway. He was declared dead at the scene.

The four occupants of the 4Runner sustained minor injuries in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation. Anyone who might have witnessed the crash is asked to call the department at (254) 501-8800.
