One Injured in Crash with Trash Truck at Bell Street and Old Ballinger Highway in San Angelo

One Hospitalized After San Angelo Trash Truck Crash at Bell Street and Old Ballinger Highway

San Angelo, Texas (May 1, 2020) – One person was injured Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash involving a Republic Services trash truck in San Angelo, according to a local news source.

The crash happened just after 12:00 p.m. April 30, at the intersection of Bell Street and Old Ballinger Highway.

According to the report, a Toyota was heading northbound on Bell Street while the trash truck was heading southbound on Old Ballinger Highway.

The driver of the Toyota mistakenly over looked the trash truck, and the vehicles collided at the intersection.

The Toyota driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
