Two People on Motorcycle Killed in Crash at East Lancaster Avenue and Major Street in Fort Worth

Rider and Passenger Killed in Fort Worth Crash at East Lancaster Avenue and Major Street, Driver Flees the Scene

Fort Worth, Texas (June 12, 2022) – Two people on a motorcycle died Sunday afternoon following a crash at an intersection in Fort Worth, according to a police report.

The deadly collision happened at about 6:15 p.m. at East Lancaster Avenue and Major Street.

According to the police, the crash started when a car and a motorcycle collided. Following the collision, the motorcyclist and their passenger were ejected from the motorcycle. The two were then struck and killed by a second vehicle.

Authorities say the driver of the second car remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. The driver of the initial car fled the scene of the collision. The investigators did not provide a description of the hit-and-run vehicle.

The incident remains under investigation.
