Victor Cecilio-Rodriquez and Huey Henderson Killed in Nacogdoches County Car Crash on US 259
Nacogdoches County, Texas (March 10, 2019) – Two people were killed, and three others were injured Friday night in a head-on collision on a Nacogdoches County highway, according to the DPS.
The fatal crash occurred at about 9:38 p.m. March 8, on US 259.
DPS said a 2003 Ford SUV driven by Victor Cecilio-Rodriquez,38, of Lufkin, was heading southbound in the inside lane of the highway when for unknown reasons, it crossed the center median and collided head-on with a northbound 2014 Cadillac SUV, driven by Huey Henderson,64, of Henderson.
Both Cecilio-Rodriquez and Henderson were declared dead at the scene.
Leah Henderson, 63, and two 15-year-old girls, who were passengers in the Cadillac, were taken to Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital in unknown condition.
An investigation is ongoing.
