Woman Airlifted After Wrong-Way Crash on Interstate 10 in Baytown

Woman Injured in Baytown Crash on Interstate 10 near North Main

Baytown, Texas (December 6, 2022) – A woman was airlifted after a wrong-way crash on Tuesday morning in Baytown, according to a local news source.

The crash happened just before 2:40 a.m. on Interstate 10 East Freeway eastbound at N. Main.

As per the report, the woman was driving on the wrong side of the road when her vehicle collided head-on with a 2007 Freightliner hauling a semi-trailer.

The woman was airlifted to Memorial Hermann Hospital in unknown condition. The driver of the Freightliner was checked out and cleared by medical personnel.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
